The assessment in practice

The Meridian Scan.
We measure twice.

The Meridian Scan is a full body analysis: the system records electrical measurements at selected points on the hands and feet and processes them into an energy-pattern report. First a baseline set of readings is taken, which the methodology calls the compensated state.

Reading 1 The baseline set of readings

Most tracks read close to the system’s reference band.

Reading 2 After provocation

Two tracks read well outside the band. Those are the areas the report discusses.

Illustrative only. Comparing the two sets of readings is how the energy pattern is produced. It indicates areas that may warrant attention within the system’s methodology; it does not identify a disease or a medical cause.

A second set of readings follows a provocation, in which a small amount of energy is temporarily added. The two sets are then read across the system’s fifteen energy-pattern spectra, and the therapy spectra are used to select complementary wellness suggestions. The report is intended to support a broader wellness discussion and should not be presented as a substitute for clinically validated diagnostic testing.

6–8 minutes. The assessment is non-invasive and designed to be comfortable — no needles and no blood draw. Your written wellness report follows within one to three days.

What comes back

What your wellness
report contains.

Signals from the system’s spectra are played through headphones and the meridian responses are recorded. This total wellness scan is then set out in a written wellness report, alongside practical guidance you can act on.

Inside the report

  1. 01Energy Indexan overall vitality profile
  2. 02Yin-Yang Harmonyoverall energetic equilibrium
  3. 03Left–Right Balancesymmetry between the two halves
  4. 04Organ Energy Profileeach of the twelve main tracks
  5. 05Five elements & chakrasread within the Ayurvedic framework
  6. 06Lifestyle guidancepressure points, movement, diet and routine

The assessment provides energy-pattern information associated with the system’s methodology. It does not replace laboratory tests or other clinical investigations used to diagnose medical conditions.

Because the system uses digitised frequencies generated by the computer, no physical samples are taken and nothing is administered to you.

The 15 energy-pattern spectra

Fifteen named
signal groups.

These are the names the measuring system gives its own signal groups. Each returns energy-pattern information within the system’s methodology. None of them is a laboratory test: the assessment does not test for, detect or confirm bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, hormones, vitamins, minerals, heavy metals or any medical disease. Where you need to know any of those, ask your doctor for the appropriate test.

01–04

Microbiological themes

Named signal groups within the methodology

01

Fungal

One of the signal groups the system reads. It returns energy-pattern information the manufacturer associates with this theme. It is not a test for fungal infection, and does not detect or confirm Candida or any other organism.

02

Viral

Readings within the system’s viral signal group. This is energy-pattern information only: the assessment does not detect, identify or rule out any virus or infection, and is not a substitute for laboratory testing.

03

Bacterial

Readings within the system’s bacterial signal group. The assessment does not test for, detect or confirm the presence of any bacterium. Suspected infection should be investigated by a doctor and treated medically.

04

Parasitic

Readings within the system’s parasitic signal group. This does not identify or exclude any parasite. Stool testing and other clinical investigations are the appropriate way to look for one.

05–06

Environment

Themes relating to surroundings

05

Environmental load

The system’s group for environmental themes — solvents, heavy metals, chemicals and mycotoxins. It returns energy-pattern readings, not measurements of any substance in the body. Heavy-metal or toxicology testing requires a laboratory.

06

Geopathy & electrosmog

Readings the system associates with natural earth and water radiation, and with man-made electromagnetic fields from wiring, appliances and transmitters. These are traditional and manufacturer-defined concepts rather than measured field strengths.

07–08

Structural

Themes relating to tissue and jaw

07

Scar tissue

Readings associated with scars sitting on an organ track. Scar tissue behaves differently from surrounding tissue, and within this methodology that is read as an influence on the track it lies on.

08

Teeth & molars

Readings associated with the teeth and jaw. In this framework each tooth is paired with an organ track. It is not a dental examination — dental pain or disease should be seen by a dentist.

09–11

Mind & inheritance

Traditional concepts, read as patterns

09

Psyche & emotions

Readings interpreted against the emotions that Traditional Chinese Medicine pairs with each organ track — grief, worry, fear, frustration, anger and others. This is a traditional model, not a psychological assessment or a mental-health diagnosis.

10

Nuclei

The system’s group for the effects of long-running stress and emotion. It is not an assessment for PTSD, depression, an eating disorder or any other clinical condition; those need a qualified healthcare professional.

11

Miasmas

An inherited-tendency concept drawn from homeopathy. It is a traditional framework and not a genetic test: the assessment reads nothing about your DNA and cannot indicate any hereditary condition.

12–15

Internal systems

Traditional models of regulation and supply

12

Chakras

Readings interpreted against the chakras of the Ayurvedic tradition, which that tradition describes as intersections of energy feeding the organ tracks. Each is paired with a particular track within the model.

13

Hormonal

The system’s endocrine signal group, covering themes it associates with the thyroid, adrenals, pituitary, pancreas and others. It does not measure any hormone. Hormone levels can only be established by a blood test.

14

Vitamins, minerals & amino acids

The system’s nutrition group. It returns energy-pattern readings, and the report uses them as a basis for general dietary guidance. It does not measure vitamin, mineral or amino-acid levels; a laboratory test is needed for that.

15

Cell matrix

The system’s group for the extracellular matrix, the tissue surrounding the cells. Readings here are energy-pattern information within the methodology, not a measurement of tissue condition.

Scope

What the assessment
is not.

Worth setting out plainly, because the names the system gives its signal groups can suggest more than the assessment actually does.

The Meridian Scan is a complementary wellness assessment. It records electrical measurements at the skin and processes them into an energy-pattern report. That report is intended to support a broader wellness discussion and to point to areas that may warrant attention.

It is not a diagnostic test, a laboratory test or an imaging study. It does not diagnose, confirm or rule out any medical condition; it does not predict future disease; and it does not determine the cause of a medical condition. It is not a substitute for medical consultation, laboratory testing, medical imaging or prescribed treatment, and nothing in your report should be acted on in place of a doctor’s advice.

If you need to know, ask for the right test

  1. 01Infection — laboratory testing
  2. 02Hormone levels — a blood test
  3. 03Vitamins & minerals — a blood test
  4. 04Heavy metals — toxicology testing
  5. 05Structural problems — medical imaging

Bring your wellness report to your doctor if it raises something you would like looked at properly.

105 therapy frequency spectra

From the reading
to the guidance.

The therapy frequency spectra are used to select complementary wellness suggestions against your reading. Like the assessment signals, they are digitised and played through headphones. They are complementary approaches drawn from traditional practice, not prescribed medicines.

How every track is scored

These bands describe where a reading sits against the system’s own reference ranges. They are not clinical results and do not indicate the presence or absence of any medical condition.

  • Yellow zoneBelow the band

The track reads below the system’s reference range for your age and sex.

  • Green zoneWithin the band

The track reads within the system’s reference range.

  • Red zoneAbove the band

The track reads above the system’s reference range.

Drawn from five traditions

  1. Homeopathy
  2. Orthomolecular medicine
  3. Ayurveda
  4. Phytotherapy
  5. Traditional Chinese Medicine

Alongside them, your report carries practical guidance: pressure points to work, exercises to do, and dietary and lifestyle changes to consider. Where appropriate, we refer you to a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice and treatment.
